
Our clients are agency qualified, low income families and individuals living primarily in Maricopa County. Clients are transitioning from temporary housing to permanent housing or are in agency-sponsored case management programs.
Bridging partners with caseworkers, social service agencies and programs that address the following issues:
- Previously Homeless: People who previously lacked a regular nighttime residence, or whose primary residence was designed for temporary accommodations. This category includes refugees.
- Battered Women, Men and Children: Victims of domestic violence who are moving into their own housing from a shelter or abusive home.
- Chronic Life Threatening Disease: A person in need of service as a result of the effects of a chronic life threatening disease.
- Employment and/or Job Training: Enrollment in a program offered by a government agency, the Department of Economic Security, or the sponsoring agency.
- Learning Disabilities & Life Skills: Ranging from basic life skills training, to SMI (Severe Mental Illness), to those who need daily supervision and/or medication.
So far this year we have distributed over 34,000 items to over 60 agencies, programs and churches
