Bridging AZ Furniture Bank is kicking off our “Buy a Kid a Bed Campaign.” Our goal is to acquire 5,000 beds over the next five years. The beds we acquire through your generous donations will be given to children of economically disadvantaged families who are transitioning out of hardships such as homelessness or domestic violence.
Bridging AZ provides an unduplicated service, providing basic furniture and household items to those in need. With no government funding we receive furniture and household items through community donations. But as the only furniture bank in Arizona the number of families served has increased and so has the need for more beds. Bridging has identified children's beds such as twin and bunk bed sets as a crucial and unmet need for families starting over. With your help Bridging can reach 5,000 beds in five years and ensure no child within our reach is sleeping directly on the floor.
